It's been almost a month since my last post. Time just flies. It's crazy. I got a text from my awesome, wonderful cousin in WA letting me know she is reading my blog and also reminding me (in my own head this is) that I haven't been very good at updating. We are in full summer mode over here. Boating, swimming, tons of time outside, the usual awesome summer stuff. We joined the Yacht Club this year and I think we have already gotten our moneys worth out of it. Last Sunday we were there twice in a day. Once before nap time for lunch and once after nap time with pb&j's in tow for dinner. (Yes, we're fancy eaters over here :)
We have also been doing a lot of biking and family 'exercising'. My hubby has been working is tail off the past few months and is diminishing in size significantly. (So very proud of him) So we trying to do stuff as a family to get active. It's been really fun and the kids love it.
Of course we have found a few extra fun activities to mix things up a bit. There was a fun event at Centennial Park hosted by the library. The Critter Barn was there with a ton of animals! It was great. P & C got to hold some chickens and G loves all animals and has zero fear of any of them so that can be challenging and fun at the same time. We also went to a Family Fun night at Central Wesleyan which was fun just really, really busy so lines for things were long and that does not go over well with a one and two year old.
P had Kid Connect at our church that same week. She has never gone before but because I was helping a few days I decided it would be fun for her to go. She loved it and she learned new songs with I hear her sing when she is playing...I love that! The 'Fruits of the Spirit' is one and it's just so cute. Her teacher was Ms. Julie who is a good friend of mine and has a daughter just a few years older than P so she thought that was cool.
Another big thing is P went to the dentist for the first time. She did really well and I think she thought it was fun.She got to wear fun sunglasses and got a new toothbrush with bubblegum toothpaste to go with it.
