Digital Scrapbooking

I finally figured out how this whole digital scrapbooking thing works and I'm super excited about it. Forget getting out all the stuff, organizing all the stuff, have to tape, cut & layer all the stuff...then the worst part...cleaning up all the stuff. This digital thing is the way to go.
Here are a few I've done so far. My plan is to catch up with the Little P pages then work backwards from where my actual scrapbook leaves off which I think is...2003...hey, that is only 6 years! :) I've done more pages in the past two weeks then I have in the past 6 years. See how much I hate doing all the stuff with the 'stuff'.

6 Month Stats

We had our 6 months dr. appointment today. We did the norm, weight, height, shots. I think I hate the shots more then she does & I always cry! I have to get over that before she gets bigger and realizes it for sure. She was such a trooper though! I was so proud of her. She cried for maybe 30 seconds...thata girl.
Anyway, here are her stats...
17.13 lbs - 75%
26 3/4 inches - 75%
She's not the most slender thing ever but that is the way I like it! :)

1/2 A Year

Payton is six months old today...Daddy says that is 1/2 a year. :) She is definitely developing a fun loving little personality. She squeals at almost everything in excitement. (Such a girl thing)One of her favorite things is watching me dance around like a fool even if it's just to the music on a commercial. If you ever drive by our house and see me dancing like crazy...know I'm entertaining my child & not crazy.

I'm almost positive she will be walking before she crawls. Reasons...for one, she HATES being on her tummy. When I say HATE...that is what I mean. She throws a fit. I let her scream about it for a while but there is only so much I can take. Second, she LOVES to stand & be on her feet. With a little help from the couch or something supportive she can stand by herself. Those tree trunks are sturdy and hold that little body up for a while. In fact, she likes standing so much she will stiffen her whole body so I can't make her sit.

We haven't had her 6 month check up yet so I don't have any stats. I believe she goes in on the 25th so I'll post them then. I also decided that I was going to try to take her 6 month pictures myself so I'll post those when I get them ready too...we'll see how they turn out.

Bahamian Bride

We're Back! Bryan & I had a great vacation. Even though the weather wasn't great we still enjoyed ourselves.
We went down for the wedding of our friends Matt Eldean & Jami John.I'm sure Jami had a completely different picture in her head of what her wedding was going to look like. The original plan was to jet away on a boat to the resorts private island and get married on the beach then have an outdoor reception. Unfortunately, due to extreme wind and the cold, the island was shut down on their wedding day and made it impossible to have an out door reception. Despite that everything was beautiful. A small garden to the back of the resort was the ceremony setting and a very nice conference/ball room was where the reception took place. Everyone in the wedding looked great, including my studly husband.

Bahama Mama

Vacation is a little bitter sweet for me right now. Bryan & I get to spend the next few days in beautiful Nassau Bahamas for Matt Eldean & Jami John's wedding. It is going to be amazing I'm sure and to get to spend a few days in the sun will be great. A lot of close friends will be down there to celebrate with them so I am looking forward to that... BUT I have to leave my baby girl for the first time. :(
Please pray for us the next few days...especially me. I will miss her SO much but she is in good hands and with people that love her very much.
See you Sunday baby girl!! I LOVE YOU!
