It's A ...!

BABY!
heheh...now did you really think I would cave that easy?! :)
We had our ultra sound today and everything looks great. Baby looks healthy and very active. Praise God!
And NO we did not find out the gender! Go us! I have to say it was tempting but we resisted. Bryan was watching the screen very intently. I think he thought if he looked hard enough he would be able to tell.
Our guesses are still the same. I think it's a boy and he is convinced it is a girl.
Keep the boy name suggestions coming because if I am right, at this point he will not have a name. :)

From Baby to Big Girl.

Where oh where did my baby go?
I was looking at the pictures that I took of Payton over the past few days and I can't believe how much of a big girl she has become. It has me wondering where my baby went.

Names?

This post may seem premature but due to the fact that Payton didn't have a name until two weeks before she was born and we knew she was a girl, I would like to start early with this one...at least get some names on the list which is a challenge for us. So I am seeking help.
We really are ok with girls names. We seem to have a good list going, however, the boys names are a completely different issue. I don't know why this is such a problem but we just can't agree on anything and frankly I can't even come up with ones that I really want to fight for.
The ones on the list are 'ok' but I feel like 'ok' isn't good enough. I have not heard or seen one that I love...very frustrating.
So I would love any ideas people have and are willing to share!
(if you want to throw in a girls name here and there that is ok too :)

A Bike for Bryan

It was my wonderful hubby's birthday yesterday. He had a great day....time with the family and time with friends.
Payton and I got to surprise him with a new Trek bike (with some help from our Moms and Dads). Something he has wanted for quite some time.
He really likes it. :)

March of Dimes

This Saturday (April 17) is the March of Dimes for Babies. I will be walking in honor of Adalyn & Emma Lamar (Lamar Twinners). It is such an amazing cause and has saved millions of tiny lives. Please consider sponsoring me. $5, $10…nothing is too little! Go to http://www.marchforbabies.org/lisadawn17 to make your donation.

Thank you so much in advance for supporting this great cause.

Bedtime Update

The bedtime battles are over (& have been for some time now)! YEAH!
About two nights after my post regarding Payton's new bedtime wars, I figured out the solution. I started to think about when this new behavior started and when I put the time line together I thought maybe it had something to do with the time change. So I decided to put her to bed an hour later then normal just to see what happened and sure enough, 5 minutes of light sobbing and then sleepy time. The following night I put her to bed at 8:50 and there was about 3 sec of sobbing then sleepy time.
I figured it out! It was a little strange though because the first few nights after the time change she was fine. That is why I didn't think that was the issue at first. I moved bedtime up 10 minutes every night until she was back on track.

More Florida Fun

Here are a few more pictures of our Trip to Florida.

The Pool

Of course another wonderful part of our Florida vacation is the pool! Payton did not like the brand new life jacket I bought her but she really liked her new swimmies. She was jumping off the edge in no time.

Update from the Beach

We are having a great time in Fort Myers with the family. Payton really loves the beach and it has been a lot of fun watching her discover and explore new things.

Planes & Easter Eggs

Well, the plane ride to Florida went good, not great, but good. I really was hoping Payton would sleep most of the flight but of course that didn't happen. She slept for about 45 min and then was awake the rest of the trip. But she did good for being a very active 19 month old who has very little 'sit' in her. Cousin Ava was an extremely big help. She was able to keep P entertained for most of the flight.
On Another note...Happy Easter! We had a beautiful Easter day here. Sunshine, swimming and the beach...ahhhh. It was great. In the evening right before family dinner we had our very own Easter egg hunt. Before we left I bought and filled eggs for all the kids (with the help of my mom...thanks mom!), then hide them all over the front lawn of the condo. The kids had a lot of fun finding and opening them all. Payton got really into it by the end and after she had found all of hers she said to me, 'More?'. So we hide some of hers over again which she really liked.
