Wastin' Time

The Myrick family got a little bored sitting at home today so Bryan said...'Let's go to Laketown beach'...so we got into the car and went... strictly for something to do.
I brought my camera along and took some pics.

Meeting S.A.O

Payton & I made a trip to GR to meet her newest friend. My friend Jodi & her husband were blessed with a beautiful, perfect littler girl last week and I just couldn't wait to see her. She is SO tiny and sweet. I can't wait to watch her grow.

Payton was really sweet with her too. She touched her hand ever so gently then stroked her hair and gave her a kiss on the top of her head...ok, so the kiss was a little forced but it was still really cute. :)

Congratulations Jodi & Ted. You have a beautiful daughter and you are going to be great parents!

I'll post better pictures later. My camara's flash decided to puck out on me when we got there...go figure.

Dear Allison,

It has been six years since this world has been graced with your smile, since it's heard your laugh, since those who love you got to tell you so and six years since we've created memories together. As I think back on all the memories we shared I can't help but smile.
I started thinking the other day that you have been gone from my life longer then you were in it....that makes me cry for the memories & times we could have shared but remind myself God has a plan and a purpose for everything. God took you home early in my book but I give thanks for the short time you were in my life. It is because of our friendship I am who I am today.
I often wish I could go back to the last time I saw you, Coyote Cafe 4 days before God called you home....So I could tell you I love you and give you a great big hug one last time.
Thank you for being a part of my life. Even though to me it was not long enough.
I love you & will miss you until we see each other again.

Puppy Play

I have one of the sweetest nieces in the world...well, both my nieces are sweet but I'm taking about my little Hannah. She is also an animal lover so I took her to see my friends adorable, still for sale & need loving homes, puppies. She loved it, was SO cute with all of them and kept saying how she would do ANY thing to take one of those puppies home. Awh!

(Just a side note, she got a puppy last summer so I'm not a horrible aunt just taunting her with cute puppies. :)

Bathing at the Barn & Other Random Stuff

Almost every Sunday it is typical for us to head to my dad's barn in the evening as a family to let Chester play. Sometimes it just the four of us, Bryan, Payton, Chester & I, but sometimes other family members with show up which is always fun. Last week it was just us and Payton got filthy dirty crawling around on the floor so I found my parents metal bin they us for beverages when they have large gatherings and filled it with warm water and put her it in. It was so adorable I really wished I had my camera with me but I didn't. However, because she liked it so much this week I was prepared...all her bath stuff & the camera.

She often gets supper at the barn too. Ravioli was a little too messy...we will stick to ham & cheese next week.

There are a lot of toys at the barn and this little race car is one of them. It just got a new battery so Daddy & her decided to take it for a spin.
As an early birthday present from Amma & Papa P got a new swing. Daddy hooked it all up yesterday. She LOVES it. Just giggles every time. So cute.

Wednesday Beach Day

Wednesday Payton & I met Julie, Josi & Alisa out at the beach...along with other 'Prins' Family ladies. It turned out to be a beautiful day and was absolutely perfect on the beach. We go to the 'Big Red' side and it is so peaceful and quiet and spacious. It is way different then Ottawa Beach (I cringe at the thought...ugh) and it was even nicer then on Sundays when we go. We were literally the only ones on the beach. It was great. I can almost guarantee we will be heading out there again some Wed. afternoon in the near future.
And yes, P's hat does say 'My Mom Rocks'...when it's true, put it on a hat! :)
