GR Children's Museum

I packed up the kiddos in the mini van, picked up the Garvelink's and we all headed to the Grand Rapids Children's Museum. The kids had a blast. I didn't really know what to expect but it was perfect for the ages of my kids. They both could have stayed all day I think. In his glory.

Christmas Lists and Tree Decorating

Payton 'wrote' her very first Christmas list to Santa today. She was very excited to go through the toy magazines and cut out the pictures of toys she wanted to ask Santa for.We also got to decorate the Christmas tree together while Charley took his rest. She really did a great job. I was very impressed. And no, I did not move any ornaments she put on. I read someone's comment on Facebook that said, 'you'll have plenty of years to put the ornaments where you want them'. I am going to enjoy my tree as my three year old has decorated it while I can.

Christmas Tree Farm

Woodland once again held their annual 'Christmas tree farm' day so once again we got to enjoy the activities with the kids and pick out a tree. (although Daddy really picks out the tree because he works at it every year, we let Payton think she picks it out :) This year was a bummer because it was, of all things, raining. But no fear, we were still able to enjoy donuts and hot chocolate, see the animals, feed the goats and ducks and go for a covered hayride!

Favorite part of the day...seeing the horses!Feeding the goats
Covered Hayride
All our family pics turned out fuzzy because of the rain on the lens. Very bummed.

Busy Nesting

Nesting is one of the perks to pregnancy in my opinion. Although I do wish it came a little sooner. Getting tasks done would be a lot easier without the big belly. I have gotten a lot accomplished this last week and am feeling really good about it. Now, with that said there is still a ton on 'the list' to get done but checking things off one by one is so satisfying. :)
