Preschool Graduate

I can't believe my girl is a graduate!
Yes, it's only preschool but I know tomorrow it will be high school. She had such a great year and learned so much. She loved her teacher & Aide and loved her classmates.
I can't wait to see what next year holds for her but for now we will enjoy the summer that lays before us.
Happy Preschool Graduation P!

The kids LOVE to 'Dutch Dance' with Mommy. Grant even came out one of the nights! So cute.
The animals at Kinderplaats
Me and my sweet girl. We got to dance all by ourselves on Monday night and then got to grab some yogert at Peach Wave with Amma. Fun girl time.
My little character.
Junk food night.

Waiting for the parade. We were sweating on Wednesday & Thursday and on Saturday we were in hats and mittens. Welcome to Michigan.
Using my double stroller as a triple.
Kinderplaats!
Charley loved the rides this year. We got there a little late and didn't get to do as much as we would have liked.
Grant LOVED the animals and has zero fear of anything as you can tell by this picture.
LOVE THIS ONE!!

Stopping to smell the Tulips
Well, two of them smelled the Tulips. One just wanted to pick them.
Charley taking moment to smell them too.
My kids were a hit with the tourists!
Especially this guy who was showing off for everyone and posing perfectly for pictures. Such a dude.

Pretty girl loves to wear her costume and take pics. Love that!!

Not so happy about pictures this night.

Favorite Things with Favorite People

All because two people fell in love...
I got to spend a lot of time with my wonderful extended family. Mainly my girl cousins and aunts whom I love dearly but don't see as much as I would like.
My cousin Jordan married his wonderful, beautiful best friend Erin a few weeks ago. I love it when we have family weddings, not only because my cousin's have wonderful choices in spouses, but because it brings in my out-of-state cousins.
The Monday after the wedding I thought it would be fun to throw a Favorite Things party (I told you in my post about the last one how much fun it was and wanted to throw one). What better people to do a Fav Things party with than my fav people?!
It was great fun and a great excuse to hang out with these wonderful ladies.
LOVE YOU ALL!!

You know you are a mother of three young kids when...

(Written  4/25/13)
I found myself laughing...at myself...today. Here is why.
With a skip in my step I loaded my kiddos into the car and headed to my parent's house. I quickly, yet happily, unloaded them and gave kisses goodbye. Once back in my car a sighed a small sign. You know the 'I just dropped my kids off and now get to be 'by myself' for the next hour or so' sign, yeah that one. I had a fresh hot cup of coffee with me and a good book. Life is good.
I got to my destination and was actually excited for a chance to drink that coffee and read that book in silence...awhhh wonderful silence.
Where was this wonderful place I was going you ask? Manicure? Pedicure? Spa day!? Nope, yearly doctor appointment! That's right. I was actually excited about this because I was ALONE! :)

I got back in the car and laughed out loud at myself when I realized I just treated that like a day at the spa!
Yup, you know you are a mother of three young kids when...

Fort Myers

(Written 4/7/13)
Another spring break has come and gone all too quickly.
I love this place. I never want to leave. And call me crazy but preparing for it is part of the fun for me.
Next year, two weeks for sure!
I know I can handle the direct flight with three kids because, thanks to Air Tran and their wonderful seat placement, I basically did it by myself this year. We were on a plan that was two seats on one side and three on the other. They put me with all three of my children (G is a lap child) in one row and my hubby in the row behind by the window. Which, would not have been so bad but he couldn't even take G. because the couple he was sitting with had a lap child. (Only one lap-er in a row due to oxygen masks) Anyway, from this little experience I know I can do it alone and am excited about the possibility of spending more time in Florida.
This year was a little abnormal because of the weather. It was unusually cold so we were not able to spend as much time as we would have liked on the beach and in the pool. The kids didn't seem to mind a whole lot however and still had a great time.
Our kids were so great and had a blast hanging out with Noah, Hannah, Ava, Grace & Harper. It is fun to see them all interact together.
We felt, because we were staying for longer than just seven days, we could do some things we normally don't do because of time (hopefully next year we can do even more!:) One of the things we have talked about for years, since Noah was really little, has been to go on the 'Pirate Ship'. We finally did it this year. Bryan, Myself, Payton, Charley, Mark, Dad, Ava, and Hannah all went while the others stayed back with the littlest ones. It was fun and the kids liked it.
Payton met a new friend while we were there (Isla). They were two peas in a pod. Both loved Barbies and horses, their imaginations were on the same track and they played for hours. Unfortunately, she lives in Canada and although her and her family vacations there every year, it's usually during Christmas. Very sad for my sweet girl but we are writing and sending pictures. Maybe they will connect again someday.
***I started this post months ago and never finished so the words are going to end there and I'll just post pictures. :) ***
