10th Birthday

Every year for Noah's birthday I get to brag about about him & this year is no different. I can't even believe it but he turned 10 year old yesterday. So hard to believe. He is growing up to be such a sweet, kind, loving young man. He is such a big help in so many ways and Payton absolutely adores him! It is so great that he will sit and play with her and can make her belly laugh. I really love watching them interact.
Friday night was his birthday party at the barn. With rip sticks, bikes, rollerblades, blow up pools, fireworks and sling shot water balloon fights, I think it is safe to say everyone had a good time.Baby Noah - Just days old Noah - 10 years old

Grandma Genzink turns 85

Last night we celebrated my grandma Genzink's 85th birthday with a small get together with the family & some yummy deserts. She is a very special lady & I am so blessed to call her Grandma.
I love getting together with this side of the family because all of us cousins are about the same age and have a lot in common. We always have good intentions to get together more but that doesn't happen often which is a shame but we are all really busy.
We were able to sneak in a few pictures with the cousins even though there were a few missing due to living out of state and being busy with other things. :(

Pool Playdate

The great thing about having friends that are home during the day is all the fun activities you can enjoy with them & their kiddos.
Payton & I love to spend time with Mary & Adi & Louise, swimming and going to the park and such things. Today we went to the barn for the morning to let the girls swim in Payton's new pool. They are so fun to watch because they are the best of friends & the best of enemies all at the same time.Playing NiceNot playing so nice

28 Weeks

Gloucose test came back good today at my appointment so yay for that. Heartrate is at 151...again, in the middle.
Now we start going every two weeks. I can't believe we are to that point already. It has gone so fast I can hardly believe it.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day
"Happy Father's Day" means more than have a happy day.
Within those words lie lots of things we never get to say.
It means we love you first of all,
Then thanks for all you do.
It means you mean a lot to us,
And that we honor you.

But most of all, I guess it means that we are thinking of...
Your happiness on this, your day,
with pleasure and with love.

10 Year Tribute

This time of year always makes me think back to high school and graduation but this year I have been especially reminiscent because it marks 10 years of life after high school. So much has changed and yet there are days that I feel like I'm still 18...how can that be? Time has gone so fast and I can't help but think of how fast the next 10 years will go and where life will lead me and my family. Payton will be almost 12 and in middle school...Lord help me (I mean that very literally! :) and baby #2 will be almost 10. (hopefully there will be baby #3 in there as well) I will be 38 and my hubby will be 41. It seems like light years away but I know it will be reality in the blink of an eye.
Until then, I pray God will bless my family and help us to enjoy each and every day because we can never get them back.

Thank you for the memories Holland Christian Class of 2000! I had a blast.

24 down, 16 to go!

I had my 24 week appointment last Wed. All is well with baby. I am measuring right on which is great and baby's heart rate is at 144...agian, right in the middle but low compared to Payton's. This little one wants to give nothing away!
